Here’s How You Can Make a Big Difference for Animals in 2017
1. Go Vegan
Farmed animals are easily the most abused animals on the planet. We can protect them from a lifetime of suffering by moving toward a compassionate vegan diet. To order your FREE Vegetarian Starter Guide, click here.
2. Share Undercover Videos on Social Media
Most people have no idea how awfully factory farms abuse animals to bring us meat, dairy, and eggs. Sharing undercover videos on social media is a great way to expose friends and family to the truth.
3. Join oINK, the Mercy For Animals Writers Group
If you have an email address, an internet connection, and a will to write for animals, join oINK, the MFA writers group! We’ll periodically send you writing ideas via email (don’t worry—we won’t overload you!) to help you amplify your voice and create change for animals.
Leafleting is one of the easiest and most effective ways to reach thousands of people with a message of compassion for animals. Leafleting takes zero preparation, and at the right time and place, just one person can hand out hundreds of brochures in less than an hour.
5. Become a Hen Hero
Join our Hen Heroes team of online activists! Most of our Hen Hero actions take less than 60 seconds, but can spare hundreds of thousands of chickens a lifetime of suffering. Sign up here.
You can use a marathon or your birthday, anniversary, graduation, or just plain passion for helping animals as a vehicle for inspiring friends and family to donate to MFA. Create your own fundraising page, set a goal, and get started!
7. Become a Better Advocate
There are lots of opportunities to speak out for farmed animals and promote vegan eating. But what’s the best way to do it? Whether you’re talking to a friend, a family member, or a complete stranger, here are six tips that will help you succeed.
