There’s nothing more frustrating for some of us than finding out that the veggie burger on a restaurant’s menu contains milk or eggs. I mean, can’t it just be vegan so that pretty much everyone can eat it?!
Fortunately, more and more restaurants are starting to realize the importance of having vegan options on the menu, and there are quite a few chain restaurants where you can get a totally plant-based burger:

• Denny’s
Denny’s veggie burger and brioche bun are vegan, so load it up with your favorite toppings, like fresh avocado, grilled onions, and barbecue sauce. Just be sure to order it without cheese and butter. Here are a few more vegan options at Denny’s.

• The Cheesecake Factory
Made with brown rice, mushrooms, and black beans, the Cheesecake Factory’s savory veggie burger is sure to satisfy. Just ask for sourdough or wheat bread and replace the cheese and mayo with avocado.

• Johnny Rockets
This chain serves Gardein’s black bean patty on a whole-wheat bun with fresh tomato and crisp green lettuce. This burger is guaranteed to be good.

• Red Robin
Substitute any patty for a vegan one made with ancient grains and veggies. Pile your burger high with grilled mushrooms, onions, guacamole, and more!

• TGI Fridays
Try the black bean and avocado burger with cola onions, but be sure to hold the cheese and mayo! The burger comes with french fries!

• White Castle
Grab a few veggie sliders and choose from the sweet Thai sauce or horseradish mustard. At select locations, try the hamburger sauce.
*Since menu items may vary by location, be sure to let your server know that you’re vegan to ensure no animal products are used!
